International film makers can also run into foreign language issues, shooting in an unfamiliar country, and not knowing the best places to film. Filming Portugal just helped with a documentary about the wine making process in Portugal and stepped into the fields of a winery to get footage of the process - from harvesting the grapes to cleaning and crushing them. Location, translation and fixer services were all key as well as doing the actual filming.
